The 2015 National
Senior men Rugby league continues on the fourth day with 2 matches at two
venues in Kigali.
The early kick off saw the Remera Buffaloes RFC register a 18-0 win over hosting Lions de Fer from Nyamirambo while the Thousand Hills RFC 25-7 winners over the Kigali Sharks RFC.

Thousand Hills RFC 25 vs Kigali Sharks RFC 7
This match began on a cagey note, the Thousand Hill’s Isimbi Carlos scoring one straight forward penalty attempts in the opening quarter of an hour. The Sharks would settle in the match, mauling and rucking from a line out deep in Thousand Hills territory and could not easily ground the ball. Ntakirutimana Fils Abdoul was awarded the try after match referee Andrew Kettlewell consulted the touch judge. Isimbi Carlos converted well as the Thousand Hills led 10-0.
Carlos third attempt at goal was successful; enabling the Thousand Hills to add three points with the scores at 13-0 at the end of the first half.
The second half started with different game plan by Sharks who were not going down without a fight, again taking the game to the host, gaining good ground, only to be let by Nemeye Emmanuel .
The Kigali Sharks made the game safe when Nemeye, receiving the ball from a lineout in midfield, sliced through the Thousand Hills defence, beating the gain line and offloading to Ngizwenayo Barnabas who played in Irankunda Onesime who touched down with J.de Dieu Hakizimana converting for a 13-7 score.

At UTEXRWA, what was billed to be a closely contested duel ended up being a one sided affair, the Buffaloes running up three non-converted tries and one penalty by Bikamba Lucien.
Niyo Gerard opened the scoring with a second minute penalty before Kazungu Patrick on 30 minutes took the scores to 13-0 at half time.
In the second half,
Buffaloes continued to dominate and
Kwizera Steven scored the last try before the end of the game18-0 lead.
It was one way traffic for the forty minutes allocated to the second half. The Buffaloes completely pounding the Lions into submission. The game ending 18-0.

The players misconduct
and indiscipline behavior from both teams, made the referee Arnold Kwizera took
severe decisions and handed 4 red cards to Migisha Emmanuel, Kazungu Patrick,
Niyo Gerard and Kamali Vincent from Remera Buffaloes and 2 red cards handed to
Lions players Maendeleo Sixbert and Jacques Bizimana.
