I know it's been a while, as you all know , some times life has issues that can make us disappear for a while. So ,let's get back to our business. Rugby in Rwanda is getting popular , not only in the capital city, but also in rural areas , because now you can find it in almost every where in the country.

It is a great game, it helps people get together ,get rude of all the useless and bad thoughts, that means ,it is a good weapon of reconciliation. This is why we recommend young and old Rwandans and the  fellow foreigners to support by coming to training sessions, promoting the game online and/or off line, there are great talented young players who can surprise us in the future once we come together and get organised,structured and promote them.

This year the National team is practicing three times a week, on Tuesday ,Wednesday, and Thursday at the same known place,the APE Rugunda football ground.Because the tournament will take place either here in Rwanda or in Burundi ,we will let you informed after the confirmation of the play ground and the tournament schedule ,it will take place on the week of 21st to 28th this month.Now the coach added another day of training, and this is every Sunday at Camp Kigali play ground.
Most of the players are already prepared to face the Burundian team and the Congolese team if nothing changes,because last time they didn't show up, and the games were only between Rwanda and Burundi.

This is another good opportunity for the team ,especially young players, as this will be the best time to the National team coach to test youngsters from different teams, this is my opinion. The team now is coached by the Fijian Simeli Mocevakaca a former Rugby player. As He always say ; " the player who is fit, is the best player to have, and anyone can be fit if they allow their mind not to be defeated by the fitness exercises" , He also said that once your mind is defeated, then all your body is defeated.

I think ,young players like ; Donat Kanyamahanga , Jean Paul Inyange , Habumugisha Moise , Didier, Bebe, Jason Nduwayezu , Tuyisenge Daniel , J D'amour Nsengimana , Yannick ,Kevin Makmot , and many others will get the chance to show their talent in front of their fans when they will be with their experienced players in the team who recently represented Rwanda in Hong Kong at one of the most famous 10's in the world, the Hong Kong Rugby 10's tournament that gather different teams from all over the world.
Let's support our team that is focused and aims to lift the trophy again.
