OYE!!OYE!!GO SILVERBACKS GO!!!!

This is really very good from the Rwanda Silver backs,after a few minutes of  tight game,some of the Rwandan players were brilliant and got to break the Intambwe defense,Nikwigize Olivier(Pappy) made the first and the second  try,the conversion was well converted by Makmot Kevin.
The first half ended, the silver backs ahead with 7-0.
The team from Burundi tried to beat the Rwandan side in the second half by some good injections from the centers and also good combinations between the fly half and the centers,but it was hard for them to make some tries.

Other players who were outstanding ware: Cambara Coco Marcel,Kamali Vincent and Felix (Rwanda).Yesterday ,the defending champions shown that they are still able to defend the trophy!The final score was 22-03.
It is a step forward for the Rwandan Rugby and I think we need to keep it up and put much effort,love,respect,discipline and unity in this very good game of Rugby "INTSINZI KURI TWESE!!" 

The silverbacks training on mondy 09th october.

The Rwanda rugby team  had it's improvised training on Monday.Why did it happened?
Monday ,was the day the car super 15 supposed to start,I mean the Kick Off.But the Burundian Intambwe and the Congolese teams did not show up.We wanted to know what was going on!
Some of the players and the coach told us that the teams got some difficulties and that the Congolese team might not participate to this year's tournament.
As we speak,the team from Burundi is already in Kigali,they arrived yesterday  afternoon around 3pm.And will play today at 3pm at Amahoro stadium in Remera against the Rwanda Silverbacks!

I hope you will all rugby fans and players of the Rwandan rugby be at the stadium to cheer for your team!We wish you all the best and a very good,fair play,and skillful game of rugby... 

The unexpected come back!!

Wednesday 05th,was the return of to players from Uganda who have been playing for the Rwanda Silverbacks for quite a while!Kevin Makmot the halfback and Otim Amin aka Alan the flanker and jumper ,the team is expecting a good game from both of them even though they just arrived 5 days before the kick off.

This was the Rwanda Silverbacks victory after a tight game full of hard tackles and very impressive skills from both sides but also the bravery from young talented players like:Habumugisha Moise from (Rwanda)and Mugabonihera Christian from (Burundi).

Will the Rwanda Team be able to defend the trophy once again?? What do you think?

The CAR super 15 !!

The Rwanda Rugby Team is looking forward for the KICK OFF of the Confederation of African Rugby development games that will take place in Kigali at the AMAHORO national stadium and will start on the 09th of October 2011.The invited teams are: DRC congo,Reunion,Tanzania,Burundi and Rwanda the hosting team.The Tanzanian n the Reunion teams did not confirm their participation yet!
